Richard E. Griffin, Jr. is the President and CEO of RICKSTAR Financial, a premier financial advisory firm headquartered in Ypsilanti, Michigan. A seasoned leader in the financial services industry, Mr. Griffin founded RICKSTAR Financial in 2014, following a distinguished career as a Senior Vice President at Merrill Lynch and as the founder and Chairman of the Merrill Lynch NFL Network. Under his leadership, RICKSTAR Financial has built a dynamic and prolific clientele that includes professional athletes, entertainers, and business owners.

With over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Mr. Griffin is widely recognized for his strong track record in regulatory compliance, investment strategy, problem-solving, and financial education. His career reflects a deep commitment to empowering clients and communities through financial literacy and long-term wealth building.

Mr. Griffin studied International Finance at Hastings College in Nebraska before serving in the prestigious Naval Sea/College Program with the United States Navy.
